Specifically designed for the Fluval EDGE power filter, Fluval Carbon Clean & Clear Renewal Sachets contain premium grade carbon that provides superior adsorption qualities that eliminate toxic impurities, odours and discoloration from aquarium water. These replacement carbon sachets are also suitable for the Aquaclear 20 / Mini Hang on filters.

Directions

  • Remove protective plastic bag and rinse Activated Carbon thoroughly before use.
  • Place Activated Carbon insert in top or middle section of insert basket.

Maintenance:

  • Activated Carbon should be rinsed monthly using water from the aquarium.
  • Activated Carbon should be replaced monthly. Due to the absorption qualities of Activated Carbon, rinsing the insert will only remove loose particles and debris, not the impurities that have been absorbed.
  • Never replace all filter media simultaneously to ensure constant presence of bacteria.
